Terms of Service

1. What this is

tornwar.com ("the Service") hosts OC Spawn Assistance, FactionOps, the /notifications PWA, and related tooling for the Torn community. All services run from a single private dedicated server.

2. Who can use it

• You must have a Torn account in good standing and comply with Torn's Game Rules and API terms.
• OC Spawn Assistance access is gated to factions on the partner allowlist or with an active Xanax-trial grant.
• FactionOps is restricted to the operator's faction.
• Access may be revoked at the operator's discretion, at any time, without notice, for any reason (including violation of these terms or Torn's rules).

3. Your Torn API key

• By pasting your Torn API key into the Service, you authorize the Service to make read-only calls to Torn's API on your behalf (endpoints include /user, /faction/crimes, /faction/basic, /faction/members, /torn/items).
• The Service never performs write actions (no attacks, no vault transfers, no messaging, no OC joins) using your key.
• You can revoke your key at any time at torn.com/preferences.php#tab=api. Revocation takes effect immediately; the next Service call fails and the key is auto-evicted from caches.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access another faction's data via any means.
• Do not attempt to bypass the allowlist or subscription gating.
• Do not automate gameplay actions through the Service; it is strictly advisory.
• Do not share your key with other users. If your key is compromised, revoke it immediately.
• The Service abides by Torn's published scripting rules; do not use it in ways that would violate them on your account.

5. Service availability

• Best-effort only. There is no uptime guarantee or service-level agreement.
• The Service may be taken down for maintenance, migration, or permanently, with or without notice.
• Data loss is possible in a catastrophic hardware or software failure. Do not rely on the Service as an authoritative record of anything.

6. Termination

• You can stop using the Service at any time by revoking your API key and uninstalling the userscript.
• You may request deletion of your faction's stored data by contacting the operator; the request will be honored within 7 days.
• The operator may terminate your access at any time by removing your faction from the allowlist.

7. No warranty / limitation of liability

The Service is provided AS IS without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The operator is not liable for any loss — in-game, financial, reputational, or otherwise — arising from use or inability to use the Service.

8. Changes to these terms

The operator may update these terms. Material changes will be posted at tornwar.com/terms with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
